Materials
I use air dry clay which, unlike polymer clay, is not made from plastic. The material I work with is made from natural, eco-friendly materials.
I opted to use air dry clay instead of creating ceramic charms as I prefer the precision of my acrylic paints to ceramic glazes.
The charms are painted and varnished on all sides, including on the backs. This means that they are fully protected from any weather damage, but please try not to wear them in the shower/bath/sea swimming!
The necklace chains I use are tarnish free and waterproof, and come in silver or gold.
